Two Sisters, One Mission:
Making Life Easier
GYGO started with two sisters who kept seeing the same thing in different worlds.
Suzanne spent over 15 years working as a therapist and life coach, helping families, couples and individuals who felt misunderstood, stuck or completely burnt out. Michelle worked in the education system for over 25 years, supporting children, families and schools through crisis after crisis, watching systems fail the kids who needed the most understanding.
We’re also mums. Suzanne has two grown up daughters, Michelle has two grown up sons. We’ve both been through divorce, done the school runs, handled the teenage years and had more than our share of rows, regrets and reality checks. We’ve learned a lot the hard way, and we’ve poured both our personal and professional experience into everything we offer through the GYGO programmes.
Different jobs. Same problem. People weren’t being heard properly, understood properly or supported in a way that actually worked.
Together, we realised something needed to change and that’s how GYGO was born.
It’s a system built from everything we’ve learned in therapy rooms, classrooms, staff rooms and family living rooms. A way to help people finally make sense of themselves, the people around them and how to make life easier without hitting breaking point.
Because too many people are masking just to get through the day, holding it all together in public, then unravelling at home. GYGO helps you figure out what you really need, so you’re not carrying it all until it spills out on the people you love.
We’ve been through the dark bits – heartbreak, single parenting, burnout, you name it. But even in the worst of it, we’ve always found something to laugh about. That’s what we bring to the GYGO community.
Everything we offer through GYGO isn’t about being perfect, pretending to be someone you're not, or fixing people. It’s about honesty, acceptance and non-judgement. You'll feel seen, supported, and hopefully we’ll share a few proper belly laughs along the way.
GYGO started in our homes and it’s here to support yours.
