About Us

Meet the team behind Get You Get Others

We’re more than professionals, we’re people who’ve lived this. Parents, coaches, therapists, educators, and people who genuinely care. Each of us came to GYGO from different paths, but we’re united by one belief: When people understand each other properly, everything changes.

We’ve seen people fall out, burn out, or drift apart, not because they didn’t care, but because they didn’t understand each other. That’s why we do what we do, because we’ve been in those moments ourselves.

We’ve worked with thousands of individuals in homes, classrooms, and workplaces helping people make sense of each other’s behaviour, communication styles, and emotional triggers so they can move forward together.

We bring lived experience, practical know-how, and creative tools that actually shift how people see themselves and each other.
GYGO isn’t just a system - it’s something we live and breathe.

BELIEF #1

YOU’RE ALREADY ENOUGH

You’re not too much, too sensitive, too loud, or too different. You’re just being authentically you and once you understand that everything starts to make sense.

BELIEF #2

UNDERSTANDING CHANGES EVERYTHING

Most people aren’t being difficult they’re just different to you. Once you understand that, you stop trying to change them and start accepting them for who they are.

BELIEF #3

SMALL SHIFTS. BIG DIFFERENCE

You don’t need to reinvent yourself. One honest conversation, one better choice, one small tweak that’s how lasting change really happens.

Suzanne Davison
Founder & CEO, Get You Get Others

Clinical Hypnotherapist | Master NLP Practitioner | Life & Business Coach | EMDR & Trauma Therapist | Speaker | Creator of the GYGO Profiling System

I’m Suzanne, founder and creator of Get You Get Others (GYGO), a profiling system designed to help people better understand themselves, the people around them, and why relationships can sometimes feel so difficult even when there’s love there.

For over 15 years, I’ve worked as a therapist and coach supporting individuals, couples, families and business owners through anxiety, emotional overwhelm, communication struggles, relationship breakdowns and major life challenges. Over the years, I’ve delivered training in schools, worked with businesses and leadership teams, spoken for major UK law firms, and run workshops, retreats and programmes across the UK.

But honestly, the work that shaped me most did not happen in a clinic.

It happened in my own home.

Whilst I was helping other families professionally, my own family was struggling behind closed doors. My daughters faced significant emotional challenges, home life became increasingly stressful, and eventually my marriage broke down under the pressure.

At the time, I kept coming back to one painful question:

“Why did I understand other people’s families better than I understood what was happening in mine?”

That question changed everything for me.

I realised that many people are not trying to be difficult, selfish, dramatic or controlling. More often, they’re overwhelmed, misunderstood, emotionally exhausted, and trying to get their needs met in completely different ways.

That became the foundation of GYGO.

Through the four GYGO profiles, Heart, Square, Diamond and Circle, I created a practical way of helping people understand behaviour, communication styles, stress responses and emotional needs without blame, shame or labelling people as “the problem”.

Because in my experience, most conflict is not caused by bad people.

It’s caused by people seeing the world differently, coping differently, and not knowing how to reach each other anymore.

Today, I work with individuals, couples, families, schools and organisations helping them better understand themselves and each other, improve communication, reduce conflict and create healthier relationships both at home and at work.

My work combines psychology, coaching, emotional wellbeing and practical strategies in a way that is relatable, down to earth and easy to apply in real life, because insight means very little if people do not know what to actually do with it on a stressful Tuesday night.

GYGO has been built from both professional and lived experience. It is not just a profiling tool or personality quiz. It is a practical language designed to help people feel less criticised, less alone and more understood.

Because when people finally feel seen for who they are, rather than judged for who they are not, relationships begin to change.

And sometimes, that changes everything.

Michelle Bush
Director of Education & Family Support, Get You Get Others

Education Consultant | Parent Advocate in Education | ADHD Coach | Child & Family Support Specialist

I’m Michelle, and I help parents become the voice their child needs at school, because I know how hard it can be when a child is struggling and nobody quite knows what to do next.

I’ve worked in education for over 25 years, mainly within secondary schools, supporting children and families through some incredibly difficult times. Over the years, I’ve worked across mainstream, private and alternative education and, more often than not, became the person families turned to when things felt overwhelming, emotions were running high, or they simply felt unheard.

The part of this work I’ve always felt most passionate about is helping the children who quietly struggle at school, the ones who do not quite seem to fit, who worry more than people realise, or slowly begin to feel like they no longer belong. Whether that looks like transition worries, school anxiety, friendship struggles, attendance difficulties, or simply a child who no longer seems able to cope in the way they once did, these are often the children who get missed until things become much harder.

A key part of my work has been supporting children and families through the move from primary to secondary school. By helping parents and children prepare for the transition, whilst also working with schools to make reasonable adjustments before a child even arrived, I saw first hand the difference early support can make in helping children feel more confident, settled, and able to cope in big school life.

Over the years, I’ve supported hundreds of children and families through these kinds of difficulties, often helping to spot concerns early before school anxiety or attendance difficulties become much harder to manage. In my experience, the warning signs are usually there long before a child fully disengages.

Having spent so long working alongside both schools and parents, I understand what schools can realistically do, what families desperately need, and where things can unintentionally go wrong. I strongly believe in getting support in place early and helping parents and schools better understand what a child is really trying to communicate.

When we stop focusing only on behaviour and start understanding the need behind it, we stand a far better chance of turning things around before school becomes a place a child no longer feels able to face.

Maybe some of that passion comes from personal experience.

I struggled at school myself, not because I was naughty or didn’t have friends, but because I simply could not cope with the environment and, back in the 80s, there wasn’t the understanding or support there is now.

I could spend an entire day sat in a field and nobody even knew I was there. Not the school. Not my parents. I didn’t have that one adult who really saw what was going on and knew how to help.

So perhaps everything I’ve done since has been about becoming that person for someone else.

The one I needed.

Alongside my school based experience, I became a qualified ADHD coach, trained in life coaching with distinction, created coaching programmes within schools, and became a Certified Parent Advocate in Education, helping families better understand their rights and navigate the school system with more confidence.

Eventually, I realised I could not fully do the work I believed families needed whilst still working inside the system, so I made the decision to work directly with parents and young people instead.

Now, through GYGO, I help families better understand what their child is trying to communicate, strengthen relationships, and find practical ways forward when life feels stressful, overwhelming, or stuck.

Because when children feel understood and accepted for who they are, everything starts to shift, not just at school, but at home too.

If you’re feeling exhausted, worried about your child, or simply unsure what to do next, please know this:

You do not have to figure it all out on your own and you do not have to have all the answers.

Sometimes, you just need the right person in your corner, and that is exactly where I’ll be.

Nancy Taylor

Get You Get Others Coach | Wellness Educator | Qualified GYGO Family Coach | Founder of Honey + Spice

Hi, I’m Nancy  - a wellness-loving mum of two, qualified GYGO Family Coach, and founder of Honey + Spice, where I share honest motherhood and nourishing food.

Before discovering coaching, I spent years juggling the usual chaos, a demanding job, two young children, a Hashimoto’s diagnosis, and the quiet exhaustion that comes with always trying to keep everyone else okay. I didn’t feel like myself, but I didn’t know how to fix it either.

When my son was born with a congenital virus, everything shifted. I started questioning what we eat, how we live, and how we care for our minds and bodies. That’s what led me into holistic health and eventually to coaching. But it was GYGO that gave me the missing piece.

Learning my GYGO profile helped me understand why I’d burnt out, why I struggled to hold boundaries, and how my people-pleasing had taken over my identity. It gave me a way to reconnect with who I was and to see the dynamics playing out within my family more clearly. Everything became calmer, more connected, and more honest.

Now I help other families do the same. As a GYGO Family Coach, I support parents who are running on empty, kids who feel misunderstood, and households where everyone’s talking but no one’s really hearing each other. Together, we use the profiling tool to map out how each person operates, what they need, and how to stop clashing and start connecting.

This isn’t just work for me. It’s personal. And I’m passionate about passing it on.

Psalm Tolentino

Social Media Creator & Get You Get Others Advocate | Content Creator | GYGO Advocate | Champion of Family Understanding

Hi, I’m Psalm  - content creator for GYGO, born and raised in the sunny (and sometimes hilariously chaotic) Philippines.

Before joining GYGO, I originally trained and worked as a chef. I’ve always loved creativity, whether that’s bringing to life in the kitchen or ideas to life online. Over time, I swapped my apron for a content calendar and found a new way to connect with people through storytelling and design.

When I started working with Suzanne and the GYGO team, I thought I was just here to help share their message. But very quickly, I realised this wasn’t just another job. It was something that genuinely made sense of my own world too. Learning about the profiling system, I suddenly understood why I worked the way I did, why certain conversations at home felt hard, and why clarity and structure helped me feel safe. It was like someone had finally handed me the instructions I didn’t know I needed.

Now I get to help other families discover that too, not as a therapist or coach, but as the person behind the posts, reels and downloads that bring the GYGO message to life. Whether it’s a quote that hits home, a short video that makes you laugh, or a visual that helps you understand your child better, I help turn GYGO into something people can feel, share and use every day.

I believe social media should be about real connection, not just content. And I’m proud to be part of a team that puts heart, humour and honesty into everything we do.
