When You Understand Yourself and Others,
Life Feels Easier
Student Needs Assessment & Reasonable Adjustments Report
Understand what’s really going on for your child in school and what they need to be supported there
Overview
By the time you get to this point, you usually know something isn’t working at school, even if it’s hard to explain exactly what it is.
You’re seeing them falling apart at home, and it can be difficult to put that into words in a way that school fully understands, which makes it even harder to get the right support in place.
It often leaves you second guessing yourself, wondering if you’re missing something or not doing enough, and it can be emotionally exhausting, especially when you’re also trying to hold everything together for the rest of your family and manage your day-to-day life.
So, you end up stuck, trying to do what’s best for your child while also working out what they actually need in school, without having anything clear to guide you.
Who this is for
- You know something isn’t right, but can’t quite explain it
- School is focusing on behaviour or effort, and it doesn’t feel like the full picture
- Conversations with school aren’t leading anywhere
- Your child is struggling day to day, but can’t always say why
- You feel stuck and unsure what to ask for next
What we do
We build a clear picture of how your child experiences school, not just how they appear in the classroom, but what’s actually going on underneath.
We use GYGO profiling alongside your insight as a parent and, most importantly, your child’s own voice, so we’re not guessing or relying on assumptions and can understand what’s driving their behaviour within the school environment.
What you’ll leave with
- A clear explanation of what’s really going on for your child in school
- Insight into how they experience the school day
- Specific, realistic adjustments that schools can put in place
- A report you can share with school that actually helps move things forward
What to expect
We keep this simple, so it doesn’t feel like another thing for you to manage.
You’ll complete a short parent form, and your child will complete a simple questionnaire so we can understand how school actually feels from their point of view.
We’ll then spend time with you and your child to build a full picture and bring everything together into your report.
There’s no pressure on your child to “get it right” or explain everything perfectly, we’re used to working with children who find that difficult.
Why this works
Because it’s not based on generic assumptions or guesswork.
It’s based on your child’s voice, your experience as a parent, and a clear way of making sense of what’s happening in school, so the support actually fits your child rather than relying on trial and error.
